Hello from thinking about my trip I had to smile to myself I going back to Finland Helsinki to see the Sex Pistols before they retire and meet up with Petri as an early birthday present to myself I have been to better places then Riga but its not bad had a crazy night last night I was at a bar called watching an Ozzy dvd and I got talking to 2 women and after a few beers and shots they invited me to a sauna for a few more drinks I had a sauna and swin it was really weird and fun I was at the War Muesem and muesem of occupation and visited the churchs and old buildings(as i do everywhere) I'm going to Vilinus tomorrow and then make my way back to Finland then

Hello again Ive had a busy few days after leaving Tampere and my good friend Petri i went to Rovaniemi got no sleep on the night train there as everyone was talking to me and buying me beer at night it was crazy the Finnish are such friendly people and always like to make friends after a long sleep the next day I went out to an Irish bar(as I said before there everywhere) called the Irish Times it was the best Irish bar I have ever been in(Outside of Ireland) and then ate in McDonald only because it the most North MickeyDees in the world the food was bad but i always is wherever in the world it is the next day I went to the Arctic Circle its a half an hour bus journey and jumped back and forward over the line going In the Arctic Circle Out of the Arctic it was 8 degrees at the start of August it goes down to as low as -30 in winter and I went in a T-Shirt people where looking at me funny after that I went to the Lordi Rocktaurant and drank in the Rio Grande and Tivolli(because they had the Petri seal of approval) and partyed all night again. Rovaniemi is a very small but with cool people then I went back to Helsinki for a night and then I got the ferry to Talinn its a step back in time in a good way the Old Town is one of the best places in Europe and its cheap I was at a Depeche Mode themed pub last night it was good fun all I will be going to Riga next all going well but I never have plans just ideas

Hello its been a week since i last did this so I probally dont remember everything but heres goes Stockholm was cool a beautiful city built on Islands lots of old fancy buildings everyones speaks good English and they have some of the most stunningly beautiful women on the planet on the down side its expensive (espeically booze) on my last day I went to the Europride(Gaypride) parade its better then a Paddys day parade its alot more fun and Ive never been to one coz we wouldn´t have that sort of thing in Ireland, as I said the last time I posted I was going to be going o Kiruna in the North of Sweden but they where working on the train tracks so the only option was to take a 32 hour bus journey I didnt fancy that so I got the ferry to Helsinki instead and I dont regret that decision for a second Helsinki is one of the coolest places Ive been to on this trip its small theres not a whole of amazing sights but its has people and a drinking culture that is the most similer to Ireland in all the countrys I´ve been too also theer are Rock bars(Boot Hils a good ones) everywhere, Metalheads everywhere, rock nightclubs, record stores with really rare stuff in it, guitar stores all over the place and rock stores where I found after searching everywhere a Devildriver T-shirt so It´s my sort of city If I could speak any Finnish I could live quite happily.On my second day I was walking along the pier where the ferry goes and I saw outside someones house a red Dodge Viper(sidenote:I love those cars to bits) and that is my happyist memory from Helsinki that and when they played all of Cowboys from Hell Album by Pantera and Gimme Back my Brain from Therapy? coz that was the only track they had after that I got in touch with Petri(kossu from the Wall of Mouths) who said I could stay with him last year after the Therapy? gig in Vienna so I went to Tampere which is 2 and a half hours north of Helsinki by bus the place has a lots of lakes(None of which I can pronune or Spell) Petri is a great host he sorted me out with a bed on the floor and food and beer and coffee THANK YOU MAN he also gave me the chance to wash my clothes very important when you travel for a long period and me and him had a Sauna which is under the apartment block you feel a bit light headed after being in 80 degree heat for more then half an hour never been in place that has so many pictures of Andy Cairns and Therapy? as well as Motörhead on the wall and the collection of cds and memrobilla is huge and pets any over the place today I´m going to the Arctic Circle(finally) a place called Rovaniemi home of Santa and Lordi it should be good but Ihavent been toa bad place yet and its Finland I feel at home here
